FINAL 2026 BADASS HR DERBY STANDINGS

WELL, THE COMMISH WAS WRONG FOR SEPTEMBER.

5th PLACE WAS A TIE BETWEEN HOME RUN MONGOS 2 & VINNIE BAG OF DOUGHNUTS. I WONDERED ALL SEASON LONG, "WHO SPELLS DONUTS, DOUGHNUTS?" I GUESS THE GUY WHO BROUGHT IN THE DOUGH AT THE END OF IT ALL. SO, $25 EACH FELLAS. I HOPE THE MONGOS DIDN'T SPEND THEIR FITTY ALREADY. 

What a bizarre final day of the season. Yankees washed out by a nor'easter robbing Ben Rice of some valuable ABs for EPIC FURIO, who only had 4 players today with 2 lifted for PH's before their final ABs. That's just how it goes in the BADASS HR DERBY. Then there's that guy (Alex Bregman) who went from "keep your ball on the eye" a few days back and managed to "keep his eye on the ball" today for what has to be one of the best game 162's ever. He reached base all 5 times, 4-4, 2 HR, 1 BB, 1 S, 1 D, and 4 RBIs to help JPGG TEAM 2 claim the top spot ($1,000) for Total HRs with 191. CONGRATS! It was a helluva battle. Corey Seager even added another to make the margin of victory 3 HRs over EPIC FURIO (188 HRs - $700) who shot another blank for a second consecutive day.

1st: JPGG TEAM 2 (191 HRs - $1,000)

2nd: EPIC FURIO (188 HRs - $700)

3rd: BIG GIO (185 HRs - $500)

4th: TEAM DEAN MARTIN 2026 (179 HRs - $300)

5th: BALLZ & 04 SPLL RED SOX 4 (178 HRs) - $100 each)

For SEPTEMBER HRs we had a rare, back-to-back month, repeat winner with:

1st: THE BURGERS ARE BACK (43 HRs - $400)

2nd: POPS 1966's (41 HRs - $300).

3rd/4th: SCENT OF A WOMAN & THE FAVORITES (39 HRs - $150 each)

5th: HOME RUN MONGOS 2 & VINNIE BAG OF DOUGHNUTS (38 HRs - $25 each)

It's a wrap 5 Ladies & Gents. Time for The Commish to decompress and enjoy the post season. Expect payments tomorrow or Tuesday when final results are posted from site I pull data from. I don't expect any changes.

6 Monthly Contests: 1st contest runs March 25th-April 30th. Remaining 5 contests begin the 1st day of each new month with all teams resetting to 0 HRs. So, if March/April is a dismal display of dingers, you'll get 5 more monthly chances to win prizes, with all teams starting at even strength. Contests end on the last day of every month.
